2140 visitor to the 2-day DTB forum – an average increase of 172 %

The leading international trade fair for the international garment-manufacturing and textile processing industry took place in Frankfurt am Main this year from 9 to 12 May.

The leading international trade fair for the international garment-manufacturing and textile processing industry took place in Frankfurt am Main this year from 9 to 12 May.

Beside a great number of national and international exhibitors – among them a lot of DTB members –the DTB itself also was represented at the fair with an own booth and a 2-day presentation forum within the texprocess forum.

The DTB presentation forum with nearly 40 top-class presentations held by experts from the industry on the topics quality- & environmental management, digitalization & virtualization, textile finishing, sourcing in time of political uncertainty and textile innovations was very well received.

In the year 2015, we were able to welcome 1570 visitors within 4 days, this year 2140 within only 2 days.

Thanks to our speakers many interested people were listening from the first presentation in the morning until the last one of the day.
Moreover, a lot of fruitful conversions between speakers and listeners took place
at our booth after the presentations.

The prelude of the forum was the presentation “iMAT – from leftover to turnover” which introduced a tool that interfered into the supply chain, minimizes the part of clothes that are meant to be destroyed and as a result increases the turnover of a company without causing any investments.

The limit of more than 150 listeners per presentation was surpassed by the two presentations on the topic fitting.

This only represents a small section of the presentations oft he whole forum which can be orderd exclusivly by DTB members.

The first evening we concluded with our get- together in a relaxing atmosphere with about 30 participants and 2 interesting presentations.

We were espacially pleased that so many of our member companies and partners visited us at our booth which perfectly respresents the unique character of our network.
Our network stands for much more than business relationships, it stands for partnership, openess and trust.
