From 09. to 10 May 2023, the 6th organic textile forum will take place in Constance on Lake Constance. . During the two days of the conference and a pre-event on 08 May 2023, the focus will be on resources with future potential, sustainable materials and innovative raw material alternatives.

The sustainability movement in the textile sector is to gain in radiance through the bundling of forces as well as the target group-oriented transfer of knowledge. New projects and cooperations are to be initiated and existing initiatives strengthened: Both in the area of B 2 B, B 2 C and B 2 G, the aim is to bring about changes in attitudes and behaviour that contribute to sustainable development in the textile sector.

The main theme ‘Resources with future potential – sustainable materials and innovative raw material alternatives‘ covers a wide range of different aspects. During the 6th organic textile forum, we would like to draw a line from sustainable materials, transparency and the circular economy to innovations in artificial intelligence.

Experts will report on the sustainability performance of raw materials such as cotton, wool but also recycled or bio-based materials. User-friendly tools to ensure traceability and transparency are becoming increasingly necessary, and we would like to take a closer look at these. Which regulations, laws or voluntary certifications serve as guard rails in the textile industry will be discussed. We also take a look at relevant topics such as circular economy and which innovative technologies can revolutionise the textile sector in terms of sustainability.
