Reporting obligation according to CSRD: How and with what can a company sensibly start?

The adoption of the new EU Corporate Sustainability Repoting Directive (CSRD) in December 2022 will impose new requirements on companies with regard to their sustainability reporting obligations. The aim of the directive is to oblige companies to report on their non-financial activities and impacts on the environment, society and workers. The CSRD thereby promotes more transparency and comparability of economic activities within the EU and should thus contribute to the promotion of sustainability and due diligence. The consultation explains the necessary knowledge regarding the directive and explores various questions, such as what changes does the new regulation require for the reporting obligation and the report contents? What is a sensible start when implementing the requirements?
