On September 1, 2025, Dialog Textil-Bekleidung e.V. (DTB)<\/strong> celebrated its 40th anniversary<\/strong> in the historic banquet hall of the State Hofbr\u00e4uhaus in Munich<\/strong>. Around 130 guests from Germany and abroad<\/strong> accepted the invitation and enjoyed a day filled with inspiring presentations, emotional moments, and valuable networking opportunities.<\/p>\n

A Network That Connects \u2013 Since 1985<\/h2>\n

Founded in 1985 by Willy Bogner<\/strong>, DTB has evolved over the past four decades into a unique platform that today brings together more than 200 member companies from 10 countries<\/strong>. Its founding vision\u2014that sustainable solutions for the textile and apparel industry can only be achieved through dialogue and collaborative partnerships\u2014continues to shape DTB’s mission to this day.<\/p>\n

One of the most memorable moments of the celebration was the tribute to Willy Bogner<\/strong>, DTB’s founder and visionary, who attended the event together with his daughter, Florinda Bogner<\/strong>. A film and presentation by Reto Lamm<\/strong> and Brigitte Lehrhuber<\/strong> honored the Bogner family’s remarkable lifetime achievements, receiving prolonged applause from the audience.<\/p>\n

Inspiration Through Presentations and Discussions<\/h2>\n

The anniversary program provided valuable insights into some of the industry’s most important future topics.<\/p>\n

Textile Circular Economy:<\/strong> Professor Dr. Thomas Gries (RWTH Aachen University) presented both the opportunities and the challenges of implementing circular economy principles in the textile industry.<\/p>\n

Artificial Intelligence in the Textile Industry:<\/strong> Keynote speeches and panel discussions, including contributions from Hans Peter Hiemer (Assyst GmbH)<\/strong>, demonstrated how AI is becoming a driving force behind the industry’s digital transformation.<\/p>\n

Stories from 40 Years of DTB:<\/strong> Member companies shared their experiences, reflecting on how the industry has evolved over the past four decades and highlighting the role DTB has played throughout this journey.<\/p>\n

Moderator Wilfried B\u00e4uning<\/strong> guided the audience confidently through the day, inspiring participants with his energy and engaging presentation style.<\/p>\n

A Festive Finale at the Hofbr\u00e4uhaus<\/h2>\n

The day concluded with the traditional Pre-Wies’n Gaudi<\/strong> at the Hofbr\u00e4uhaus. Bavarian music, traditional Oktoberfest specialties, and performances by the Kreuther Goa\u00dflschnoizer<\/strong> created a lively atmosphere and provided the perfect ending to a memorable celebration.<\/p>\n
